Heres the deal I have been creating art and apparel of all types for years, from drawings, paintings, hand painted shirts, custom sneakers, portaits, tattooing,recording, video directing, photography, fashion shows, art exhibits,video editting,graffitti, graphic design, custom shades, custom jewlery...etc. I came across a video on youtube about a year ago. In the vid the there was a guy wearing an interesting chain. At the end of the vid the guy stated that the chain is called Clay Candy. I watched a couple of vids and I was impressed. At the time I was already working with clay and other mediums since 1996. I checked out the Clay candy website and emailed the manager to get a quote of my business logo. I recieved a e-mail back within two days with a quote for $450.00...I thought to myself you gotta be kidding me. I contacted Jerm Jilla around March or April of 2010 by cellphone. We had about a ten to fifteen minute conversation....in this conversation I expressed that I was inspired to began making charms but I wouldn't recreate any of his work or call my line of charms Clay Candy. Jerm stated that he didn't feel comfortable about me making them at first but he realized that he can't be the only one doing clay charms. He asked if I would give him "props" for exposing me to the culture. In the vids I first began posting on youtube I would put "shoutout to Jerm Jilla the poineer of Clay Charms" (This is the begining of the future feud

In my research I have found that there wear clay charm creators before Clay Candy...such as Rubberband Rick outta Texas. You can research his work and the dates of the vids on youtube. I have also found that in ancient times Africans and Egyptians made jewelery as well as other useful tools in there time. "How can making Clay Charms be swagger jacking if Claycandyshack neva created Clay nor did he create clay jewelery"? " This dude (Jerm) started out hand painting Tee shirts and sneakers just like Filthy Dripped...Just Like Miskeen...Just like the Shirt Kings"

Here is where the beefing comes into effect...."At the time there was an upstart clay artist Tom Odren ( you can view his work via youtube) he also contacted Jerm. He called to get advice and let Jerm know that he too inspired him to get into the culture...Tom asked Jerm if he heard of Thesis. Jerm stated that he never heard of me and verbally attacked the then inspiring artist. I was contacted the same day by Tom who explained his encounter. I felt disrespected to the fact that Jerm and his manager have had either phone and e-mail conversations previously".

"I decide to take Tom under my wing because I was a bite more experienced in working with clay and I know how it feels to be hungry in the art game."

"Tom and I continue to perfecting the craft and uploading vids on youtube to let the world know what we were doing. I get a phone call about a month later from Tom just as i'm getting out of a graphic imaging class at Fayetteville tech. He explains to me that Jerm just release a video called "Exclusive Jerm Jilla exposes the fakes" When I heard this I was happy because it let me know he had been watching my vids...and he is pissed that I'm in his lane and progressing at a fast rate. I mean think about it....would Jay-Z respond to a dude that he thought was wack especially when the dude never even took a shot at Jay?

"I know this whole situation sounds ridiculous.....two grown mean beefing over fucking clay. Yo I was getting diss comments mostly from his male groupies and supporters. I sent Jerm a comment stating I you had an issue with me why didn't you just call or e-mail me, he removed the comment......Jerm Has blocked me from all of his social networking tools except for twitter at the time....I stated whats good/ he wrote back something about how am I gonna hit him after all the B.S. He then stated something about a misunderstanding and that he had removed the diss vid where he doesn't say my name but you could clearly see my logo on his desktop screen as if he was watching my youtube vids. I stated that there aren't any hard feelings and I removed my response vid." At the end of the day We respect their movement and I now they respect ours we try to stay positive but sometimes competition can get the best of you. Apologies to his supporters except for the ones still hating.
